How To Remove Write Protection From USB Drive In Windows 8

There are two reasons behind this protection can be activated into the USB drive.
1. It is scheduled to virus attacks the primary cause.
2. The second most common because the USB device has a lock switch.
Regardless of any of the above reasons, the problem emerged, and how to fix it here.
Step 1: On the desktop, press Win + R key on the keyboard to open a window to run.

Step 2: Under Run, type regedit, and then press Enter on the keyboard.

Step 3: If you ask the NDP click Yes.

Step 4: The main window of the left part of the Registry Editor can follow this HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE / SYSTEM / CurrrentControlSet / control / StorageDevicePolicies road.

Step 5: Now click stop devices policy tools left pane, click an empty, select New -> DWORD value (32 bit).

Step 6: Name the write protection is set to 0.

Step 7: Click OK to save your changes and close all active windows.

Step 8: Make sure the computer is restarted for the changes to take effect.
